COAT WEATHER (MINI-POST)

"Winter" has landed in LA! It's been quite nippy here--enough to break out the coats. I rarely get to wear any of my heavier outerwear and though I've done my fair share of shivering while braving our  "arctic" weather, I'm doing it in style. (Today's coat is a rather special one, it used to belong to my Nana.) Coat weather: oh what a fun time to be had!

TWISTIN' FRINGE: MINI POST

For a quiet family dinner out in Brentwood, I wore this amazing fringe camisole by Donna Karen NY. This camisole makes any pair of jeans into an instant party! Warning: This top may cause you to twist and shout uncontrollably. Grab a partner and have a ball.

FRINGE+MAGIC

This suede fringe skirt by Tamara Mellon is so much fun, I paired it with a fun UNIF tee and a strand of pearls. On the cusp between feminine and witchy woo!

Happy Birthday, my Chloe!

ISLAND IN THE SUN

Spent a few days in Honolulu, lounging on Waikiki beach with the family. I quickly fell into rhythm with the slow moving days. Entranced by the warmth of the tropical sun on my skin and the sweetness that hung in the balmy air. There's nothing like the glassy sea and the wonders of this beautiful island.

COLORAMA-RAMA-RAMA-DING-DONG!

If you've been following me on Instagram lately, you might already know how excited I am with my Chanel "Colorama" bag! Aside from the fact that it's Chanel and most, if not all Chanel bags, are somewhat stunning, there were two reasons why I was drawn to this particular bag: 1. that it's colorful and 2. that it's an homage to art or in my opinion, water coloring. Needless to say, my next few outfits were designed be canvases to show off my new "work of art."

Loving this relaxed handle with the traditional Chanel hardware.
