     The spirits of Hawaii and other tropical paradises have become muses for designers such as Prada, Charlotte Olympia, Michael Kors and Zara. (Charlotte Olympia's new collection, "Overboard" was inspired by mermaids and all things nautical.) Along with the "island vibe," there have been a frenetic burst of color and flowers. With the weather being as dreary as its been, yes even California has been affected, these things are a sight for sore eyes! MINI INSPIRATION POST #1: DITA

    I don't know about you but Dita Von Teese is one of my favorite style icons. I adore her vintage, feminine look and how she uses modern day pieces with her pin-up style. Below are a few shots of her around Los Angeles. I just love how she paired her floral dress with a pair of futuristic-inspired Tom Ford cat eye sunnies and small heeled pumps. (I recently acquired these sunnies through an online sale but I haven't had an idea of how to wear them until now!)
